ReplyDeleteMy name is Jennifer Quong. This is my 4th semester at Collin College and the 3rd time to teach this class. I think guidance and classroom managements are key foundations for successful people and learning. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I have a B.S. in deaf education from Stephen F. Austin, a masters in child development from TWU and I'm working on my PhD in child development from TWU. I'm 2 years away from being Dr. Quong.
I've been married for over a year now to Daniel, and we got a labrabor retriever in Jan name Maile.
I love to make jewelry and scrapbook in my free time.
I'm trying to figure out a way to post pictures. I like to see faces.
My name is Brittany Andrews. I am 23 years old and I am a returning student at Collins College and look forward to learning new things.
ReplyDeleteI have earned my Associates of Arts from Collins College in 2008 and plan to continue my education in the childcare field. I hope to eventually receive a Masters in Child Psychology.
I am a very fun loving energetic person who strives hard to do the best I can do. I do believe that there is always room for improvement.
I am all about having fun but I do know when its time to get serious and buckle down. I love hanging out with friends, dancing, going skating, knitting, quilting and many more things.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let you know who I am and I hope to get to know more fun and exciting people this semester.
Hello my name is kristina King i am 22 years old and i am a returning student to collin college. I am majoring in nursing with a minor in child development.
ReplyDeleteI work in the medical billing field right now and i am a full time student. I am also a proud mom of a 2 year old boy named peyton.
I love to go out with friends and spend time with my family but i am trying to focus alot of attention on school! I am very excited about this class and i am hoping that maybe it can help me through the "terrible twos!"
My name is Krista Capshaw. I am 20 and I am returning student at Collin College as my second year. I am looking forward to learn new things to help to me toward my education. I am working on a certificate program for child developed.
ReplyDeleteI am certainly working at Plano Day care center. I am a teacher, work with the 18 months to 2 years. I have worked at the daycare for about one year. My favorite ones are the 18 months that I like working with but we do have some trouble two’s. I still love them through.
I love kids but mostly little infants and toddlers. I have experiences with little children for two and a half years. I love to hang out with friends and my co workers. I like to shop, go the mail to hang out, and many other things. I am fun to be around and I am persistent that sent my mind to.
I am planning to continue my education towards Assoc degree in child development.
Hi! My name is Bryttani Handt. I am eighteen years old and graduated from Hebron High School this past January. This is my first semester of college and I am excited to get going!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE kids. Working at The Little Gym helped me find my passion for little ones. I taught a class age 3-4 and had a blast. This opened a new door of interest and led to my decision to teach.
I plan on working towards my two year Child Development certificate. After, I hope to begin working at a pre-school or day care center. During this time, I also plan to transfer to UNT and eventually earn a teaching degree.
I am a very free-spirited person. I love to have fun. In my spare time, I play on a co-ed soccer team at American Indoor with my boyfriend and our friends. I also enjoy watching the History and Discovery Channel, shopping, and sleeping :)

I used to be a Day |Care provider. Two years ago, I decided to change my career to the medical field. At this time, I am a full time Sales Associate too. A mother of two (a 7 years old girl and 3 years old boy).
I have the interest to complete a Child Development Certificate.
I am so excited to complete this class. I am looking forward to a fabulous semester.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Danielle Metzger and this is my first semester here at CCCC. I just moved here two months ago from southern california. Im currently living with my sister and her family, and i am the nanny for my 3 year old twin nieces. It's the most entertaining and tiring thing i've ever expierenced, and i love it!
I figured out that i wanted to be a preschool teacher earlier in the year. I have 4 nieces and two nephews all 3 or under, so spending time with all of them put things in perspective for me.
I have a boyfriend who is in the army right now and things are going really well even though we are states away.
I'm loving my fresh start out here and looking forward to my future with children! I wish you all the best!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Britney Brown and I am 22 years old. This will be my second semester at CCCD. I am a transfer from TWU, and my major is Dental Hyigene .
The reason I am taking this class is because it relates to my career . Once I graduate , I plan to work as a dental hygiene with young children. I hope to understand kids emotions as well as action from this class. I have a two year old who is going threw terrible two's , so I really think this class can help me , so my son won't drive me insane. Just Kidding !!

I hope to learn things to help me understand children more. My life revolves around kids even though I have none. I work at little messages preschool at boyd and most of my friends have kids.
Hi. My name is Tracye Alexander. I am married and have three wonderful children. I currently work as a Teacher at a MDO in Plano. I am taking Child Development classes for my job as well as to further my education. I have only taken one other online class so bare with me because I'm still new at this.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Brian Alpiger. This is my second year at quad C, and I am a physics major. However, I am taking this class because I'm active in Big Brothers, and I teach a sunday school class. I'm 19, and this whole blackboard thing is very confusing to me, so I might be lost for a while.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Carrie Brown. This is my 3rd semester at CCCCD. This is my first semester trying online classes. I am hoping it helps me get through my classes quickly. I plan on teaching elementary school when I am done with school. As for now I would love to work in a daycare/preschool, unfortunately I work as an Administrative Assistant. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a wonderful 14 month old little boy.

I love kids and I would like to become a Speech Therapist in the future. I hope we get the best out of this class and it was very interesting to read all the posts, good luck to all!!!

I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor's in Marketing in 2002. I am taking this course because I am working towards an Associates in Child Development.
